Yorùbá L’èdè was created from a passion for preserving and promoting Yorùbá language, culture and heritage, particularly within the diaspora.

We believe that understanding our language, history and cultural heritage can strengthen identity, confidence, belonging and connection.
Our work brings people together through cultural education, language learning, storytelling, traditional music and dance, theatre, creative activities, community programmes and cultural celebrations.
We work with children, young people, adults, families, schools, community organisations and partners to create meaningful opportunities for people to learn about, experience and celebrate Yorùbá and African heritage.
